Dave's insurance career began working for a world-renowned insurance company and throughout his career he held various roles across claims handling, policy interpretation, and internal investigations. That experience gave him an insider’s view of how insurers approach claims, and, more importantly, how policyholders can be left feeling overlooked, confused, or even misled.
After helping a neighbour navigate a burglary claim that was unnecessarily delayed and undervalued, Dave saw how valuable independent advice could be. He stepped in, got a full and fair settlement, and realised something important: homeowners need someone in their corner.

Dave didn’t start this business to make a quick sale or build an empire. He started it because he saw too many honest people being let down by a process that should protect them.
